Vogue
Ancient musical folk lore states that being the singer means that you're open to constant ridicule from the rest of the band. A near perfect example of this can be seen here where I'm blissfully unaware of what is going on around me whilst trying to Vogue artistically up against a wall.
At least I get to wear the best sunnies:
This is the gorgeous lead section of The MüVs (left to right) Barney, Simon and jOnnO. There were a couple of shots of the rhythm section but their faces became too obscured by the kind of drool associated with extreme concentration (bless):
Here we are doing a rock 'n roll walk. Notice the aforementioned lead section all looking to our right. That's because we think we've spotted a mirror.
Photos courtesy (as always) of Dave Phunk, thanks and love for not letting us see the really bad ones! This was an impromptu shoot after our last rehearsal, we're ready to play and you can see us in London on Friday 6th October at the Orange club, details on MySpace.
Beforehand there's a couple of acoustic shows to whet the whistle: Friday 25th August at the Royal Oak in Plymouth (promised you we'd eventually get out of London!), this will be a packed out venue and sure to be really special followed by the Peafish Festival on Sunday 27th August. Peafish is gonna be something else with over 50 acts (music/comedy/dj's) and a BBQ, the music rotates around 3 stages and promises a sweet mix up of ballsy rock and roll and rustic acoustic sets with not an amp in sight, can't wait! Details of tickets etc are in the usual place and are going mega quick so get in there while you can.
Stay informed by joining the mailing list where we'll be anouncing plenty more gigs coming up over the next month or so. If you're already in the know you'll be well aware of the Deadcast which just went out, that's some scary sh*t man!
Love to you all
